1. Blacks at Microsoft (BAM) Scholarships Requirements The BAM Scholarship was created to enable Black and African American students to attend college and pursue a career in technology.

The goal is to empower future generations to do and be more.

To be considered for a BAM Scholarship, you must: Be a high school senior of African descent (for example, African American, African, Ethiopian, etc. ).

Plan to attend a four-year college or university in the US in the fall immediately following your high school graduation.

Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or one of the following Business programs – Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing at an accredited four-year college, university, in the United States, for the entire upcoming academic year.

- In Honor of Maxwell Courtney Scholarship is open to entering freshmen at Florida State University.

Students entering from high schools in designated counties having completed an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma are encouraged to apply.

Black or African American students receive special consideration.

3. Illinois Latino Council on Higher Education Scholarship Illinois Latino Council on Higher Education Scholarship provides financial assistance to Latino students in Illinois who are interested in attending college in the state.
