What is Inspirit AI?

Inspirit AI Scholars inspires curious high school students globally by exposing them to the defining technology of our times; AI.

This online program

- developed and taught exclusive by a team of alumni and graduate students from Stanford, MIT and other top universities

- provides guidance on initiating AI projects, pursuing AI ventures, and preparing for college.

Why they say you should join Inspirit AI Start of advance your journey in AI through a pre-college AI program for middle and high school students Learn from Stanford Alumni Collaborate with a mentor on a socially impactful AI Project and receive guidance Prepare for college applications through experiential workshops from Stanford graduates Program costs

- $1,200 In this blog post, I will be dissecting and critiquing their exact sentences said on Inspirit AI's website to prove to you that Summer Research Programs like these are a waste of your time and money.

Inspirit AI

- Taught exclusively by Stanford Alumni Many of these programs just like Inspirit AI will put Harvard or Stanford in their name to attract the audience into falling into their traps.

Well, the mentors might be students from these top universities but that doesn’t mean that it is endorsed by Harvard or Stanford.

Most of the times, they are undergraduate students are looking to pay off their college debt through side hustles such as these.

The SURPRISING thing is that when I looked into the undergrad students profiles, they have ZERO publications themselves.

It is absolutely absurd to think that these mentors with ZERO publications will help high school students publish papers themselves.

As a student who has attended top research competitions and has won the top awards, I have never seen a student who has come from programs like Inspirit AI qualify for the ISEF.

All of this at the end explains why all of these students never end up publishing research themselves or attend high school competitions because the mentors aren’t themselves passionate about what they’re doing they’re just doing it as a side hustle.

Inspirit AI

- Program Costs

- $1,200 The Tuition is SIMPLY TOO HIGH!

If you are doing research for someone, often times you should be getting paid if the lab or agency is legit.

That means that some of these programs don’t value your work if you’re paying them to do research.

After doing the calculations, you are going to have to end up paying Inspirit AI $270 per HOUR for mentorship.

In my high school, I have heard from underclassmen that they have spend $3000 on a mentorships or research program which taught them ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

- Prepare for College Admissions These programs such as Inspirit AI don’t help for college admissions.

I know that 90% of the students who are doing these programs are doing them solely for college admissions and that’s an unfortunate reality.

As a student who has competed at the highest level of the research competitions and won the highest level of competitions from them, I can guarantee you that I have seen no student who has come from programs such as Inspirit AI or even do well in them.

Here’s the underlying truth, the quality these students are doing at these summer research programs is garbage. https://www. youtube. com/watch?v=2r4vaGtNSOw&t=18s For more information on Why High School Research is Becoming Overrated!.
