Kara Gaiser
2x ISEF Winner
Kara Gaiser is a Mechanical Engineering student with an Aerospace Engineering concentration at the University of California, Berkeley, whose aerospace and bioengineering research has been recognized at SEF, where she is a two-time Grand Award winner. She has been published with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and presented at the AIAA SciTech Conference. A 2025 Brooke Owens Fellow with internship experience at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Vast Space, she has led award-winning aerospace teams, and is a ScienceFair mentor.

Leila graduated from University of Southampton with a degree in Languages and European Studies, and later earned an MBA in Marketing and Communication. Fluent in five languages, she combines an international perspective with a strong background in marketing and communication.
She began her career in SaaS, and today she is the Marketing Associate at ScienceFair.
