Jesse Rumball-Smith

Jesse Rumball-Smith is a 2025 ISEF Grand Award winner, taking 1st in Behavioural and Social Sciences for road-safety technology that gives everyday smartphones "digital eyes and ears" to detect risks.

He was the youngest-ever winner of the Transportation Group New Zealand Research Grant, earned a $10,000 Wool Research New Zealand grant, and placed 1st at the TK Ethics International Invitational. He is an incoming member of Harvard's Class of 2030.
